I also turn it off, as when I am going out on my horse, or open water swimming,
I like my iPhone to have a full charge, and this feature often gets in the way
of that.

I would leave it on. Apple says it helps to extend your battery life and apart

Okay, you go into Settings, Battery, then Battery health, find Optimized
Battery or something and turn that off if it's on. It's in Battery
Health in Settings. Hope that works.

It's supposed to help the battery age better, so it'ds not something
you'd notice in the everyday. You might, however, notice that it kept a
better percentage at peak performance (near 100) after a few years of use.

Hi all,
Optimize battery charging is on on my iPhone. Should it be? Every once in

the charge will finish at such and such a time. Why is this and why should
I leave this on? Thanks much.

You can easily find all sorts of good information by doing a Google search for

Hi. First, I think Locations has to be running in the background all the time for this to work. Next, in the native weather app, double tap on More. Make sure that the notification to notify you when it will rain or snow is checked. Now double tap on Done to return to the weather app.
