I just received this note. The app is a little easier to use in my opinion.

If I get a chance, I’ll try that. In the mean time, I can tell you that how it
works on the app is that you can swipe to the temperature reading and it will
speak the temp. It also has an alarm when the desired temp is reached. I
don’t think it will show the change unless you move off and on
