Hi all,
I'm a reasonably new-comer to this technokogy, and I'm curious as to whether or
not anyone else finds the "Contact is typing" or that they've stopped typing
messages which disrupt the entire writing process messages to be as annoying as
I do. Or, is there a way to make one's display
Good morning all,
I too am seeing this behavior across approximately 6 Ios devices. Actions in

Don't reinstall. I did this, during the app crashing rather than opening event

Hello all,
I've owned an iPad 2, 4, and now an Air. I'm also an iPhone user, am totally
blind, and the pad is my go-to device more often than not for my daily
communication/web browsing needs. I appreciate the iPad both for the visually
accurate representation of webpages, and for its larger
Hello all,
I'm seeing this exact behavior on both my iPad Air, and iPhone5. Have done, in
fact since yesterday evening upon finishing upgrading both devices.
Jonathan, we're using the same keyboard as well, and I'm seeing this behavior
with my Apple bluetooth keyboard, a logitech keyboard
Command R works in Safari to reload, but not in mail to reply, so you're partly
right. :)

Hey all,
If you're on the typing screen, flick to the right once with two fingers, and
you'll have a symbols screen. twice lands you in the numbers screen, where
there is a number row, along with even more symbols/punctuation.

Yep, I've seen this persistent little pain in the a** since att least the last
version of the OS as well. Oddly enough, it works as we expect on the iPad, but
with the trade-off that the entire appstore crashes loads more often than it
ever has in my nearly 12 months of owning everything from
I can, indeed. It's a massive annoyance. Try that in the audible app with a
library of over 1000 books. :( Annoying for sure.

Hello,
I have a friend who is seeing this exact behavior on his iPad 2. We just
restored, and still the issue persists. What happens in this case is that there
is a badge beside the app store indocating x number of updates are available.
You double-tap on the app store icon, the app opens to
I am, and yes, I find the ads to be extremely annoying. There is supposed to be
a means of buying out of them via in-app purchase, but that too doesn't seem to
be accessible. It's a fun little game, but I'd like to take advantage of its
finer points, ya know?
Havent tried contacting the dev
I too have written the Dev, so here's to hoping.

Tried it both with another VO user, as well as a sighted friend with the same
zero result, so I too am curious as to whether or not anyone else has gotten
this to work.

Hello Shannon,
Make sure that the iPod is set to let you manually add/remove music from it.

Hi Holly,
Turn off multi-gesture in settings, and see how you go that way. Often those 4
finger gestures confuse things, thus making the experience less than ideal.
