The only effective way to get rid of ads on YouTube is just to subscribe to it.
If you use YouTube a lot, the monthly subscription’s the only way to go, and
doesn’t cost much more than the ad blocker you may subscribe to. After all,
YouTube is a business. So, naturally it depends on advertising.
I have the subscription and consider it worthwhile. Also nice to be able to
play videos in the background while the screen is locked.

Does anybody know of an add blocker app that can be downloaded from the
Appstore to avoid the intrusion of so many YouTube ads? In the past there
were a few apps, but I can't remember their names to try them out again.
