Running iOS 17.4.1 on an SE2022 iphone. I went to the App Store to check
for updates and found that I had 16 updates available. How can I set-up my
phone so that I don't have to insert my password for updating apps? I had
to insert my password 4 different times to update these 16 ite

Choose the 'Update All' option as another member has suggested.
For individual updates, or for using Touch ID in general, Apple - for
sercurity reasons, after the limit of four uses has been reached -
requests that you input your Passcode (or your password) again to renew
your touch ID count.

I have never had to enter a password to update an app.After doing some research into this, I found out a couple of things.For one person, they turned off screen time in settings, and this allowed them to then download app updates without having to enter their password.I do not know if this setting
