Subject: Apple Music issue when using AirPods4 with Spacial Audio and Do
Hello,
I have recently experienced an intermittent problem with Apple Music when
playing certain albums that support Spacial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
I have looked on the net and it appears other people have a similar problem but
their posts are from 2021.
I recently purchased AirPods four with
You really should be clear that you are using the beta, or you will have people
checking to see where the 15.3 update is ...

I am using a 12 pro max with 15.3. Hopefully they are working on the issue now.

Have you contacted Apple? I have been a bit busy since suggesting one of us
contact them, but I will if this persists.

Hello Jenn,
Thanks for the confirmation. May I ask what iPhone and version of iOS you’re
using please?
I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this issue and establish a
cause.
I have signed out of iCloud and back in, reset the device and erased all

That is exactly what i did. I played a song that said something like “Do I Have
It In Me,” then I let it play into the next track without pausing or touching
the phone. What you mentioned did not happen to me.

Hello Jenn,
The problem I and others have occurres when you play tracks in an album
sequentially. So the gap is only present when track two follows on from the
end of track one as it would when listening to the album in its intirety.. If

Hi Malcolm,
I clicked on the link you gave here, and pressed play and i did not hear the
pauses while track 2 played. I am also using a 12 pro max. I was just playing
it with the screen unlocked. Is there anything else I can try for you?
Thanks,

Hi Simon,
For your information the recording was made with my Apple Watch Series7 using
Just Record.
I used a NAD 20-30 integrated amplifier and Heybrook5 speakers
I have been, as it were, living with it for maybe a couple weeks now, figuring
that Apple had to know about it and would fix it soon. As you say, it is
inconsistent. I was playing an album earlier today and it didn't do it. Hey,
maybe they have finally fixed it.

I am not alone.
I have been unable to establish a pattern with this problem, it does not appear
with all albums and no matter what settings I apply in the Music App or whether
music is stored on the device or streame
I would like to report that this also occurs with 14.8, which I am still
running on this S E 2. One of us needs to call Apple to see what they say.

Hello,
Since updating to iOS15 I have noticed an annoying issue when playing many

This problem is present no matter what device I am listing to the albums on.

Hello Fanus,
A subscription is not required to purchase either individual songs or entire
albums from Amazon.com
I find that the prices of individual titles are identical to iTunes. Album
prices are usually comparable, also.
To be clear, I download my music via
Amazon.com,
I manage that content in iTunes for Windows.
