On the library page you need to check the Device link so you go to the tab
where the books on your phone are located. Then when you click on delete,
the remove option will appear next to all the books currently on your phone.

remove button. After I do that, the books are still in the list of books on my
device. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The books has been removed, just refresh your library and the entry should
clear. If not, move to a different tab then back or close out the app and open
again. I've found on occasion that you need to clear the app from the switcher
for the device to report the disk space as having been freed up
Not sure if this posted the first time.
When I activate delete in the audible app and confirm the book I want to delete
from my device, I'm presented with a remove button. After doing that the book
is still displayed as being on my device. Is there something I'm doing wrong
to complete the rem
