BARD is not! Available on Amazon echo devices yet. They are working on it, but
haven’t even done their pilot test yet.

I wonder if someone confused Bookshare with BARD?
Bookshare has a skill for Echo devices that I believe is still in beta, and
when I tried it a few months ago, was not worth the trouble.
BARD certainly is not on Echo yet.
If I'm wrong, someone please cite

Donna,
BARD most definitely cannot be currently accessed on an Echo device. NLS is
currently working on making BARD available on these devices but nothing has
been announced about when this will happen. I expect it will take some time.

Thanks. That would be doable. I did activate something called a BARD skill but
never figured out what it could do.

As yet
As yet, no skill is available for reading BARD books. If you have BARD Mobile on an iPhone or other device that can bluetooth connect to your Echo, that would be the way to hear the books on your Echo.

Can someone tell me the best place to get info on how to read BARD Books using
an Echo device? It's not intuitive at all. I activated it on my Echo 10 but
haven't succeededin getting abook to load up, even if it has been downloaded
on my phone.
