Well, I gather that AT has started some kind of spam blocking service, but I am not an AT customer. And if you have android, there are call blocking apps. So I was hoping there might be something for the iPhone as well. I know about stopping each number after the fact. And I'm not worried about

Hello Mary, To block a number, it does not have to be in contacts. You can go to your recents tab and tap on the more info button. You can then find the block this caller option and double tap it. If you ever want to unblock it, the number will be visible under the call blocking settings. This is

Richard; if you go into your recent calls list you'll find the number that is calling you. When you find it just double tap in that number and hit I think it's details or more information. Then at the bottom of the contact card you'll see that you have the option to block the call. I hope
