OK, I did some looking around on the Web re Braille Screen Input and
found that there's a lock orientation toggle activated with a three
finger swipe down. I unlocked the orientation, got it to be landscape
and in away mode, and am good to go. *fingers crossed* I didn't come
across that in the IOS

Between the video watching and the update, my Braille Screen Input got
messed up. I used to be able to turn the phone so the Home button was

I've been experimenting with the Gmail app as a replacement for iOS mail. When
I use it, I find that when typing in Braille screen input it does not allow
spaces, so the entire email ends up being one long word. Is there a way around

I use MBraille and on my SE it works great, but on my work 8 plus, it has a
horrible delay and I'm about to ditch it, though I'll write the developer
first. I hadn't tried the Apple Braille input on that phone yet. I'm too used
My Braille keyboards (Orbit Reader 20 and BraillePen Slim) both have a space
button and this works fine. I’m a complete beginner still with Braille, so I’m
afraid I have no other experience to draw on.

There's a separate orientation lock specifically for braille screen input. To
lock or unlock orientation, turn on braille screen input and flick up or down
with three fingers. Doing this in either direction toggles between locking and
unlocking it.

Hi Arnold,
If you are using the UEB as a input braille, it is dot 4 and then dot 1 as
my memory is correct.
