Once upon a time - not so very long ago - it was quite convenient to create a calendar event from an e-mail message; placing the subject of the e-mail message in the title field of the event. Using an e-mail message to create such an event still will select date/time and address information from the e-mail message to place into the appropriate fields of the calendar event, but the subject contents of the e-mail does not get placed in the event title anymore. And as if this isn’t bad enough, if you attempt to enter anything into that title field the on-screen keyboard does not appear. I found myself putting the event title in the Notes field, then rotoring to the Edit activity, selecting the “Select All” option, then selecting the “Cut” option, going back to the title field and now selecting the “Paste” option.
At one time - not so long ago - the subject of the e-mail was placed into the title field automatically. Does anybody have any idea what has happened?
