When I have an voicemail I want to delete beffore I'm done listening, is pull
the phone from my face and double tap at the right bottom end of the screen.
You can hear the delete button, just barely because it is coming through the
earpiece as well as the message. It can be done.

There does not seem to be a way to delete a voice mail without it playing first.
When a new voice mail is tapped, it plays. Once that happens, then the delete
button can be pressed. With headphones in, the delete button can be pressed as
soon as the voice mail begins, and it will delete
