I think you have a chance to do a save as the first time, but if it gets saved
as document 1, I can't find a way to rename it.
Very odd.

How do you name a file anything but document1, 2, 3 etc. The save and
close button doesn't present me with the option to name the file I'm
saving. Where has Microsoft hidden the filename option?

Well, Microsoft does not like to make it easy to delete their documents.
When you are in the file list, along the bottom you have the account, recent,
new and open tabs, not necessarily in that order.
Touch the account tab and flick left with one finger and, wahla, you have a
file button, double

This morning I created a Microsoft word document on my iPhone. I did
it mostly to check the functionality of the Word app on the phone.
The good news is Word stands up pretty well and seems quite usable. My
problem is, now I can't figure out how to delete my test document from
the phone.
