Hi Janet,

It’s been a big month at Be My Eyes, and we’re here to bring you all the
insights! This month we’ve been celebrating two major events for the Be My Eyes
Community: the launch of Google as the newest Specialized Help partner and
reaching 2 million volunteers. In this edition, you can get an update on both,
as well as get a behind the scenes look at the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk
with Sam, who’s a Microsoft Support Agent. You can also tune in to the Blind

Selected Quotes

“I couldn’t recommend Be My Eyes highly enough, it’s just the greatest thing
ever. And really, the uses for it are pretty much unlimited, I think. Whatever
you can imagine.”

– Konnie, blind user from United States

“This is what makes the phone so worthwhile. Because to me, a phone was a
phone, and now it’s not. It’s a tool to help somebody else, and befriend other
people, and be nice to other people, and give to the world.”

– Sally, volunteer from United Kingdom
