And, the company is totally quiet on the issue. They don't give an option for tipping and say it isn't required. I've had one driver refuse sighting company policy, but, every other one has gratefully accepted. Either it is or it is not acceptable, and the company should clearly say so.

If you want a cheaper Uber ride, they have an option called Uber Pool, which is a shared ride where you might have another rider sharing the car. The fare is about a third less than an Uber X fare. Most of the time I have had direct rides, and never more than one other rider. Andy From: Jenny
