I wonder if this last sentence from the app description means what I think it
means.
Note - Group SMS to non iOS devices requires to disable: iMessage, MMS & Group
Messaging in ‘Settings’ application.

To me, that means you can't send a group text to a mixture of iDevices and non
iDevices.

And thanks for all the advise! I found the below app which is free, has
inapp purchases. It looks VO friendly, but not played with it yet. It also
seems to do email groups as well. Take a look,
