seem to have lost the info. I have a number of photos that include some
ducuments that I'd like to delete from my phone, and can't recall how this is

Double tap on a photo.
Flick right beyond the photo chooser picker item and you will eventually find
an delete button.
I do not recall if you can select several photos at once and delete them.
