I use the Kobo app on a daily basis. It has its problems, but it is usable.
Set the page transition to None, other settings don’t matter.
You sometimes have to double-tap on the title then the author to get the book
to open.
To read, do a two-finger swipe up and it will read the who
Though both of these can be downloaded from the App Store, it seems that
the Kobo and Walmart ebook apps, since the companies merged, are now one
and the same under different names. Maybe the Kobo version will
eventually disappear as Walmart has taken over?
