I deleted the message where someone was asking about an adapter which would
enable them to plug their iPhone 5 with its smaller Lightning port into
existing docks, etc. they have that use the older 30-pin connector. So I'm
starting this new thread with some options I've found for and adapter.

Today's Rakuten (formerly Buy.com) email deal has the Lightning 8 pin to 30
Pin Converter Adapter + Lightning Cable for iPhone 5 iPad 4 Mini for $7.99+
FREE SHIPPING. This is one of those third-party jobs so as others have
posted, you might want to stick with the Apple name brand or purchase this
knowing that it's quality may be less than desired. Since you're only
risking 8 bucks, it might be worth the risk. Here's the link to the item:

Since that link is a bit long, here's a TinyURL link to the same theing:

Amazon sells the Apple Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter for $24.95 plus shipping.
However, if you have another item that you need from Amazon to get your
order over $25, you'll qualify for free super saver shipping. Here's the
link for the adapter at Amazon:

Here's a TinyURL for the same item:

Finally, here's the same Apple adapter that Amazon offers but from the Apple
Store. It is the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter for $29.00 plus shipping and
can be found at this link:

Hopefully, that link will not break since it's not long. But I would
recommend getting the item from Amazon since they sell it for $4.05 less
than Apple does.
