I had a similar issue with setting a timer. I restarted my phone and all was
well again.

I just tried setting an alarm with Siri and she said something about having a
problem at the end of the process even though the alarm was set. I think this
must be related to the same issue we've been discussing about the long dictated
messages using Siri. Who should this be reported to?
