You can get a lot of NASCAR stuff including live race coverage with an app
called WFO Radio.

The official Nascar app works fine with VO. If you're a Sprint customer you can
listen to the different drivers feeds while the race is going on. If not, you
can subscribe through the app by paying per month or through the season.

Also, you could use Tune-In radio to listen to the MRN feeds or the PRN network
works fine too.
I haven't found the Nascar too difficult to work with... Just have to get used
to it, cause the layout is a little tricky.

If you are an xm/sirius subscriber they carry the car-talk on several
different channels during the races.
