I was researching this again when looking at OCR solutions for the Mac. Is an
internet connection still required for processing the scanned images?
I know in the past that was true on the Mac platform but not in Windows.

This is the best software I have used. I got a $240 certificate that is active
for a year or two, can't remember, but for a tiny subscription service a month,
it certainly beats having to shop and get software that probably does not do
the best it is suppose to do. hope it works out for you

You can get the app free from the app store and try it for 7 days. Then if I
remember right, it costs $400 after that.

I would advise using Docuscan plus for the Mac. It’s fairly easy to use and
quite accurate.
