You might want to give hims a call because when I got my braille edge 40, the
same thing happened to me, and they had to replace it.
Also, make sure that you are running the latest version of iOS.

The manual says that this can be done. It tells me to turn blue tooth on by
sliding the switch to the rear of the display; go into terminal mode; on the
