Hi Chris,
I got the 5S on Vodafone and the SIM was not pre-installed. I'm not sure about
other networks.
Btw I was very impressed with the speed Vodafone unlocked my handset, charging
significantly less than some of the slightly questionable outlets I visited who
offered to do the same thing.

When purchasing a locked iPhone, is the sim preinstalled? Or does one
need to install it themselves? I know from this list unlocked iPhones
come with a sim preinstalled.
