I use the YouVersion Bible app for study and it is pretty accessible. As for copying and saving text I presume the normal text selection and copying/sharing methods work, but I find this a real challenge in the iPhone setting in general. YouVersion has the ability to down load versions for off

The Youversion Bible App does allow you to copy verses and passages from different chapters and books. It takes some exploration of the screen to find the coppy option after you select what you want, but it does work At least it works for now. they occasionally make changes that messes things
