I think it is easier to walk straight
The compass app could be very helpful if you have to cross a large parking lot.

Hello tony,
I forwarded your message to my former coworkers, many of which are Orientation
and Mobility instructors.
If I get any feedback from them, I'll let you know.
I know they have struggled with some clients on getting them to learn to walk
That's a cool idea actually,
But on all watch versions would be better.

Right, when you're on course, there is no sound. When you're off-course,
sound comes from the direction you need to turn to.
It is impossible to make this app to work in the background, as far as I
understand iOS API, since background apps can only do a very limited set
of things, and
Congrats on your endeavor keep up the good work.

Blind Compass and Blind Bat - new apps for the blind
Hello,
My name is
Tony,
To be clear, if you lock the direction and stay on course, there is no sound,
correct?
And, when you get off course, the sound will come out of the ear on the side
toward which you need to turn to get back on course, right?
Any plans to allow the Blind Compass to work in the background

If I get any feedback from them, I'll let you know.
I know they have struggled with some clients on getting them to learn to walk
straight, so I think this will be a big help.
Is there a way to make blind compass stop with the tones if you don’t want them

WOW! Very nice. Really love the Blind Compass app. Would you ever consider
making it useable on the Apple Watch 6?

Hi Tony,
I think you are marvelously creative and very intuitive to think of these apps.
I love the idea of using your compass app to walk a straight line across a very
wide open area. This is brilliant. Thank you so much for your work!
