Don't think it's possible to get alerts for other than the trip stations you
need to get off at.
About the times, after selecting a time find the choose button and the
date/time should be saved for your trip plan.

Once you have selected your desired departure times, tap search near the top,
and trips will be displayed for the desired times.

In planning a trip I have not been able to search for anything other
than now. Even if I change and pick depart at a certain time, it
still only gives me the options for now. Not sure what I am doing
wrong there.

Hi Andrea,
I'm slowly tapping my way through those buttons and will post about some I find
useful. You can use the app without most of those buttons. Some allow for
sharing the route or rating the trip or the station. One useful one is the
"start navigation" which is the last one on the details
No, the screen can be locked. I tried it only once and it worked.
Maybe just a gps problem. Make sure wifi is on and or bluetooth to help
location accuracy. Of course if you can afford the battery drain.
Glad you like it.

HI Beth,
TO plan a trip in the future double-tap on the now button. You will get a set
of options.
1. depart or arrive.
A day and hour picker.
When you are done tap choose.
Let me know if this works for you.

I tried the app while in route to work this morning and home last evening. It
alerted me this morning 1 stop before getting off, but not last night. The
alert happened after I was already off. Must the screen b unlocked in order for
this feature to be working? Really like it otherwise.
Thanks,
Hi Margaret,
You can read the help section for moovit app by selecting the "more" tab on the
bottom right and going to the last option titled "about and contact us". Here
you have a link to the iphone user guide. Unfortunately it's a pdf and,
although everything can be read it's not easily navi
Can someone tell me how to use this app or tell me where I can go and get a
help document.
Margaret

This app definitely takes some figuring out, but I do like the fact that it
gives me more than one way to get to where I need to go. The current app I have
doesn't do that.

I too have having problems with the schedule portion and the trip planner
portion. I can't figure out how to get to actually plan a route in the future,

Hi Richard,
Cannot compare with the pdx since it's not working where I live.
I just know transit and this is nicer.

Beth, in answer to your question, tap on trip planner, and then tap on the
depart now button. If you then flick to the right, you wi see places to adjust
the time day etc.

I must be having a bad day.
Here in Portland, Oregon, I find PDX Bus to be far superior to this app.
In fact, I ran into quite a few unlabeled buttons when trying out the schedules
portion and the plan a trip portion.

Hi,
I have also used transit times and like it. However, I love the excess ability
of this new app. One question though and maybe just takes more time playing
with it, how do I change the departure or arrival times from the present to
something in the future?
Thanks,
Beth

Hello everyone. I tried the trip planner function of this app and it works
well. I've been using Transit times to plan trips on routes that I'm familiar
with. How do these apps compare?

Thanks for letting us know of this app. My city is in the list and I'm
going to check this out. From the iTunes page you linked to, it looks
like the app has a widget, which I have not yet seen in a transit app.
Also, if the stop notification is good giving you enough warning of
the pending stop, a
This app looks fantastic. I just downloaded it and was really
impressed by its accessibility. The info is much more accessible than
in the Septa app.
