Hi,
I personally think that VoiceStream is the best option as it is currently still
being frequently updated. However, this will only read text based daisy books.
If you need to read audio based daisy books and read to go is about the only
option these days. Unfortunately it is not being

I believe the Voice Dream Reader will read DAISY content and it's an
excellent app. I think it reads DAISY because it does work with Bookshare
titles. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The developer is also a member of

I feel that Voice Dream has become a good option. You can either have
the included voice read the book for you or you can use the IPhohone
voice and read it as text.

Hi guys.
I think ReadToGo is only in the US app store. As for VoiceDreamReader, I love
it, but the daisy files I would like to read include audio only and no text.
I'd like to be able to drill down the headings and jump that way if possible.
Thanks everyone who has responded.
Matthew Campbell.
HI. voice dream reads daisy textss but if you want to hear daisy audio you
need daisy worm or read to go I believe Hth .

Hi all.
Correction, I can get Red2Go in the Canadian app store. I must have been
thinking of a different app.
Does anyone know if the app is iPhone 5 compatible?
Thanks.

Bret, you do realize that the default voice for Voice Dream Reader is the same
as Heather in Read2Go, right?
I think Voice Dream Reader is a fabulous app and I have bought a couple of
voices as I am not a Heather fan either.
I think for those who want access to DAISY audio, Read2Go might be the
I really like the updated Voice Dream now that you can access the text with
voice over. I hope that with a subsequent update, it will be possible to read
continuously with the 2 finger flick down, rather than having to turn pages
with the three finger flick up.

Hi Richard,
I do realise it's the same voice, but Voice Dream reader sounds so much better
and clearer. The voice almost becomes incomprehensible when you speed it up in
read to go.

Hi Bret,
I just did a comparison between heather in Read21Go and in Voice Dream and you
are certainly correct. Voice Dream is much better at high speeds. I don't
listen overly fast because what I've been reading lately requires a bit more
concentration and I find when I speed things up too
Hi Matthew,
I bought both Daisy Worm and Indaisy a few years ago when these apps were
released. To my knowledge they are both dead although Daisy Worm is still in
the app store, but if you check the version you will find it is still
version 1.1 and was last updated in October 2010, almost 2 and a
