Lol, your method of tex input is Braille, but if you don't know Braille, then you'll use the key combinations to get around on your phone. You can hold down letter p to pause music, hold down h for home, etc. I really enjoy mine, and I had bought the Orbit writer but didn't like it as much.MatthewO
