I only charge my battery when it needs to be charged

It's not a good idea to leave it on the charger all the time. It doesn't
hurt the battery if you top it off even if it's not low. So for example,
you're getting ready for your Easter dinner and your battery is at 76.
It's not going to hurt to put it on the charger while you're in the
shower to
you bought Apple Care Plus so you can go to
a third party repair place and get the battery replaced for $40 or $50 at most.
