On the iPhone in Apple Music, once you have searched for an artist and
are looking at the list of albums, you can also do a flick up/down to
More, double tap, then swipe right until VO says, "Add to Playlist."
You can then double tap on the playlist you want and the entire album
will be added.
I only have the problem on my mac, not on my iphone.

I don't know what to say. I am looking in my iTunes now and under the "view"
menu when I arrow down, I can' see "column browser". I am on El Capitan latest
itunes. I have no idea why you can't find this menu item in the view menu.

There is nothing like column view in the menu in itunes. This item only shows
up when I'm in the finder of my mac.

I looked at the short key to go to column view, and it should be command b. But
when I push it it just says blub, so there is no action happening
Anyone an idea?

Sorry for the mistake: to ascertain which items are highlighted, you press the
combination keys: vo+f6. I was rushing to respond to your message and got it
wrong.

I was speaking of the iPHone. I use a Windows computer so I can’t help on
playlists on the Mac.

Yes. I just discovered it myself yesterday.
When you have named your playlist and double tap on the add songs button, when
you get to an album title you want to add, simply flick up with one finger and
it will say “add song to playlist.”
Double tap and that entire album is now added to the
