To stop receiving code for a particular device, go to www.appleed.apple.com and 
under the Two step verification, authorize the device.

No, it's not asking for my passcode. Every time I try to get anything from the 
App Store, even the free app, before I can enter my Apple ID password or touch 
ID, I get a verification code thing that pops up, and my husband's iPhone will 
go off with a text message that contains the code I'm supposed to enter. Thanks 
for the suggestion, though.
