on both platforms, I’m not sure how you can send a text message b between and

I'm not so sure a cell signal is needed to send texts between an Android and an
iPhone. I can't remember where the setting is in the iPhone, but SMS and MMS
need to be on. It might be in Messages in Settings on the iPhone.
