Hello Nancy,

Your question is, believe it or not, somewhat vague,

You see, the solution to your husband's problem will greatly depend upon how
and why he changed his original iCloud account I.D. There are several ways to
resolve this issue.

The short answer is that he should just delete the iCloud account currently
showing on his phone. Then, he can re-add his current iCloud account to his
phone.

If, however, your husband had Find My iPhone turned on, at the time he changed
his account then, the short answer is that he will need to log into his current
iCloud account, preferably on the web, then change his current iCloud account
ID back to the original one, then delete the account from the phone, turning
off Find My iPhone, in the process.

Once done, he can switch back to the new iCloud ID he was using before he began
this project.

If this all seems too confusing, just make an appointment at the genius Barr,
at your local Apple Store, being certain to backup the phone before taking it
in to them. They will be glad to, at least, tell you exactly what you need to
do in order to get up and running. As far as I know, there is no charge to
consult with a genius in the Apple Store.

Good Luck,

Mark

Subject: Resetting iCloud account on iPhone

Hello,
This is a question for my husband. He had some trouble with his iCloud account
a few months ago. So he changed the account on his computer. Now, his phone
will not let him change the account on the phone. The message he gets is "The
old account is no longer valid." We tried to call Apple and they will not talk
to him about it unless he buys a Apple care package. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
Thanks
Nancy
