I did notice a VO setting to change the default rotor location. Perhaps
changing this will give you back the old behavior.

This is a new setting. I can't remember exactly when it was introduced. It allows you to keep your rotor on the setting you leave it at, instead of allowing iOS to decide when it should change. There are some situations when I find this setting quite useful. I like to use it if I'm reading a long
