Hi Carol, I am not sure what causes your SIRI Dictation issues, for me SIRI is as good or bad as ever, mostly it's pretty good with unusual names being the exception. I suggest you be patient for a couple of weeks and see if things will be better in iOS 6 since from what I heard SIRI will undergo some major improvements although I am not sure if they will be in the area of dictation. I also hope there will be a way to "teach" SIRI to spell certain things and an actual spelling mode would be nice. But we shall know in 2 weeks when iOS 6 will be out, maybe even earlier, but from what I heard it is predicted to be released about a week or so after the September 12 announcement.
