Sieghard, thanks for your suggestions. I noticed when downloading the AppleVis podcast using Firefox that the files of type was set to something like Yahoo Music mp3. That sounds like it should be fine but when I changed it to All Files, I got the full podcast. I also got the full podcast when downloading with IE8 which I really don't like using.
I'll look into subscribing to the podcast feed. Secondly and I am sure you have your reasons, but why not subscribe to the Applevis podcast with an app like Downcast on your iPhone. You can set this to either download the newest podcast or the last 2 newest or whatever or stream them. For that matter, you could subscribe in iTunes and the Podcasts would be downloaded to a Podcast folder in your iTunes Media Folder automatically and you could grab them from there to copy them to your VictorReader Stream. I know these are work-arounds and not necessarily a solution to why the entire Podcast is not downloaded by Firefox, but at least it's something to think about.
