Yes and it is really! really! hard to explain how that particular bug
wasn't caught.
All you have to do is open the app once, set the reading speed, close
the app and reopen to see the bug.
How much testing do they perform over there?
This suggests they don't even test there app at all.

It is great that the bug has been found.
It is very sad that this is the first recognition from the developers that the
bug even existed.
I, and many others, began reporting this within a day of the release of 2.6.
I have free apps with better customer service.

When you first launch the app, click the settings button at the top right. The
master speed control is in that dialog.
However there does appear to be a bug in this version as the master speed level
keeps resetting itself back to 20 percent each time I launch the app.
