A good use for this is if you want to stop using a wifi network but want to go
back on wifi when you're home. So you would disconnect but have no fear that,

Okay, I read the article but not sure I understand why they would
allow people to turn the feature off, or disconnect accessories, but
leave the wifi or Bluetooth still running. Can anyone give an example

I noticed that same thing with the Bluetooth on my iPad mini two. I had
Bluetooth off before the update, but I guess the update forced tBluetooth on,
and my status bar said Bluetooth was connected, which it wasn't. So I turned it
off and that was that.
