On the 5S, after you press the sleep/wake button quickly, the unlock button
is towards the bottom left of the screen. Keep moving your finger along the
screen and VoiceOver should be speaking as you go. If it's not, press but do
not hold the sleep/wake button again, and locate again.

Have you checked whether Reduced Motion is turned on? If not, go to
Settings, General, Accessibility and find it. If it is off make sure you
turn it on as this may help. Once again, this one should be "On" and not
"Off".

No, the double tap no longer works for that on mine either. The accept and
end calls buttons seem to be pretty much in the same spot for me.

Take it back to ha
Ann,
One more thing:
Until you are comfortable with the new phone, I suggest that you disable the
Reach ability feature.
To do this:
1.
>From the Settings menu, select General.
2.
Select Accessibility.
3.
Single-Finger Double-Tap Reach ability and make certain it is set to "Off."

Hello Ann,
The first thing I always suggest when reading these kinds of posts is to remove
the phone from any kind of case.
Also, make certain that you are not inadvertently blocking/covering the light
sensor when holding the device.

I hope you have been reporting these problems to Accessibility or else they
won't be fixed.
Thank you

I know you have restored the phone, but have you tried to taco off and on
voiceover when this is happening? You can add voiceover as a accessibility
shortcut in the accessibility settings so that you can triple click home to
toggle it on or off.
