I cannot say that I have experienced any choppy behavior using VO on an Apple
TV. I wonder if there is a pattern such as some specific action etc. where you
experience or are more likely to experience this issue?

can't imagine why you would be getting choppy speech. We have 2 of the
second gen and 1 of the third gen all on the same WiFi network and I have

has me stumped. You could possibly take the extreme and reblast the software,
but this involves getting a mini USB cable to standard USB connection so you
can hook it to your computer and download the firmware

I haven't tried a reset recently. I suppose that can't hurt. Is that in one of
the menus or do I have to find a hidden button somewhere on the apple tv itelf
to do a reset? I have no clue about redownloading the software, but I have a
Mac, so if that has to be done, I guess that could be looked

should probably try connecting it to a stereo amp I have and just seeing what
happens there with vo. It won't show movies, because with no tv connection,
things flake out, sadly, but at least if the VIO remains chopp

I have not reset one via the unit itself, but there should be a reset option in
the menus. THe software reblast is a lot more fun since you have to find the
appropriate cable and try a reset via the Apple TV itself first before
graduating to the next level. If you do then I'll dig up the
py on any of my ATVs.

Rick, the same process for the Mac. The only part I need to dig up is you
have to have it plugged in to ac power and then unplug it at a certain point
in the process as I recall.
