If you turn on waterlock the screen is disabled until you spin the digital crown. I swim more in the fall/winter month (November through March or April) but I did use my watch all the time when I swam last winter and it works great for keeping track of laps etc. You set up your swim, enter the pool length, e.g. 25m or 50m, tell it you want to swim 500metres or 1 Km etc. and it's always been accurate for me. But during the swim if you press the digital crown Voiceover usually does speak a bit of information, but if you really want to review the info you have to spin the digital crown and turn of waterlock. I am seriously thinking of getting the new Apple Watch 4 just because my second generation watch (released in the flal of 2016) is sometimes annoying slow and at time it takes me a minute until I can finally end my pool swim just because it keeps locking on me or is just being slow and stubborn.

Hi, Just like the title says, I am interested in getting an apple watch for use when I am swimming. I did read that its touch screen gets disabled when you are in the pool so was wondering if vo and siri will still work because I would like to use it to check on time and stuff like that. thnx Greetings, Anouk, -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
