1. incoming calls will be sent to your voice mail if you do 2 very quick
taps on your power button.
2. When you're done talking on the phone, do 2 very rapid taps on the power

Actually I remember it used to be possible to end a call from the power button.
This was going back some iOS releases but stopped working.

Pushing the power button when receiving a call, actually, puts the person in to
voicemail. I really like this feature because when the phone rings and I am
busy, all I have to do is push the power button, and it puts the person and to
voicemail and I can check it out later. I love that feature.

iPhones going forward don't have a home button so it's 2-finger double tap to
answer/end which works quite well or you can find the End Call
