Yes, I've done that too. Works great!
Have also allowed Aira too link with both the Lift and Uber share ride
apps. Now I can have an Aira volunteer request a lift/Uber ride for me.
They can even assist the driver in locating exactly where I am.
I've also activated the "Call Volunteer" Siri

I've always used Siri to make phone calls for me, and to send text
messages. Going to contacts finding the number, then I guess double
tapping on the number would take to long in my opinion.

forget. I haven't always asked her to make calls but figured lately that it
would be faster instead of going to contacts, using the index and finding the
number myself.

That's why I don't use Siri to open apps for me. If it could also
close apps, then I'd use it. However, I kind of like using the screen
to get to certain apps. I think its fun.

this while my iPhone is on the dresser and I'm lying in bed. Have also

speaker to listen to my audible books on my iPhone. I could use my
google home to do this, and it would work quite well.
