Use the rotor gesture until you reach "Text Selection". If you move through
all the choices in the rotor without hearing "Text Selection", then you need to
first go to Accessibility Settings for VoiceOver and add "Text Selection" to
the rotor.

If using VO gestures, make sure you are at the top of the message, turn the

The best help that I can offer is to do a 3 finger quadruple tap to copy last

I'm going to hazzard a guess, but if use of a BT keyboard reflects the Mac
standard much, then adding shift to navigation key combinations, should
induce slection of that you navigate over. Mac started this, and it spread
to Windows, so it ought, and hopefully does, work here.

Hi Sandy,
What kind of BT keyboard do you have? Is it a Mac base or Win base device? The
reason I ask is in order to select text on an iDevice, you need to use VO
commands. I'm not the best with highlighting text to copy either, but I'll give

Hello,
The editing commands on a Bluetooth keyboard are similar to the Windows ones
except that you use Command (the key right next to the Spacebar on either side)

I just went into your message, used the roter to switch to lines so the
pinch gesture would select by lines instead of characters or words and
Yes you can. Note in the instructions, you don't look for the edit
option until after you've selected text and want to copy it into the
clipboard.

Hi Alan,
I found this with a google search:
Select the words you want to cut or copy with the VoiceOver cursor by
touching the line or flicking left or right.
Rotate the VoiceOver rotor to either words or lines. To rotate the
