ubject: Re: Apple Watch no longer speaks or makes sounds
Go in to your watch app on your phone and turn off voice over and then turn it
back on again. This has happened to me a couple of times and I have tried a
couple of things but this seems to be the only thing that consistently works
for me.
ch no longer speaks or makes sounds
Also, if you tap the crown three times, that will turn voice over off or on.

Malcolm,
Thank you very much. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to try and do a
hard reset on the watch. I think that is what it is called. Anyway, it worked
like a charm.
Thanks again.

Hi,
This is a common problem and is best solved by pressing both the power button
and the Digital Crown and holding them both in for around ten seconds. Release
them both and in a short while your watch should be talking again.
