Someone on Twitter also pointed out that you can double tap and hold, then
slide your finger right for video, or up for a photo. For video, I believe it
records automatically, then stops when you lift your finger.

Yes, that is exactly how it works. The only problem I have found is, you can't
tell which camera is currently chosen. I've also noticed that VoiceOver
doesn't always give feedback on whether or not the face is centred.

Thanks for making me look into this! It turns out the "attach media" button is
the key: double tap to choose and sent images, as before; double tap *and hold*
to open a popover with picture and video options, plus a button to decide which
camera gets used.

Thanks. I was able to find the location sharing under the details button. I
didn't think to look there. In this podcast I was listening to and they talked
about the ability to take a selfie from within the messages and send it quickly.

I haven't tried videos, but sending photos is using the "attach media" button,
and location sharing is in the "details" of a thread (top right corner).
