Thank you for your wonderful suggestion. Unfortunately, my left ear is so much weaker than my right that splitting the work between two won't work well for me. I am almost tempted to obtain Those new JAW BONES type earphones which works on the bone conduction of the sound. I wish I had a store nearby where I could see those to see if splitting things that way might work. My left ear took a concussive blow in my accident and I have very little in my high frequencies, making speech going into that left ear a kind of garble.
