Hi all, I just downloaded Skype on my iPhone. First question do I need to keep
Skype running in the app switcher so it can be used? Is there a way to answer
phones and if so how? Can Skype be used on both the iPhone and the iPad in the
following way if I have Skype set a certain way on my phone
Hi,
When you’re in a call, and on the screen that comes up, there is a toggle
button that you press that turns video on and off. The first time you do this,
you may have to allow Skype to have access to the camera, and double tapping
the “Allow” button will make that happen. :) Your microphone,
I know people have used the skype app; a couple questions:
First, if you want video during a call and someone is calling you, is there any
special setting, etc. that you have to use, turn on, etc.?
Second, this video call is supposed to be recorded; I assume I can have my
headset in and use it
at and open
the Messages app that text message is still there.
Regards,
Sieghard

You should be able to interact with the notification by flicking up or
down with one finger on the action you wish to perform on the
notification. So for example with Skype you may see actions such as
accept for calls and reply for chats.

Hey all. I was going through my updates today and I noticed a new Skype update,
version 5.5. This update has new and pretty neat features, including answering
calls and replying to messages in the lock screen and when banners appear in
iOS8. They tell you how to answer calls and that in the lock

No you don't. This issue occurs for example if you are purchasing an app for
the first time on this device. This goes for free apps as well. It's to verify
you are who you say you are.
