Yes, it started with the 6 and 6 Plus. I recommend purchasing an apple 12W
adaptor, it’s the one they give you with the iPad (not the Mini). It will speed
up charging considerably.

No I can't reproduce this here. Perhaps Apple could run a diagnostic on your
battery via their diagnostic page just to check it out for you.
